Is anyone using Rocketbook - either the app alone or with the notebooks for students or staff? I was introduced to this product a short time ago and am starting to put it through the paces. That is just my experience.) (To your question on why more people didn't use this during remote learning, most teachers I worked with wanted students to submit directly to our LMS for grading and feedback, so the Rocketbooks wouldn't really eliminate steps for students in that case. To me, just so the work got submitted as one clear PDF, it didn't matter much to me how they submitted. Since I gave them the option, I felt like everyone could be happy. Some students did not like the added border on the Rocketbook pages and preferred using regular lined paper. I appreciated that I could set up a Google Drive folder with students during orientation, add that as a destination in the Rocketbook App, and students were set for the whole year.Ĭons: I will say that I found the scans clearer when students used Dropbox or CamScanner than the Rocketbook App, but the quality of scan with Rocketbook was still good enough. The "smart titles" feature to auto-name your scans also works well. Pros: I love that the Rocketbook App has OCR recognition and that you can search across handwritten notes. Other students preferred to continue using their scanning app of choice and just press a button within the app to share to Google Drive. Some of my students chose to use the Rocketbook App and a couple even purchased the Rocketbook notebook.

I also put all worksheets on Rocketbook pages so that students could submit via the app. When I taught my online math class, I set up all my students with the Rocketbook App from day one and gave them the option to use this to submit work.
